This is a Noritake hand painted plate with a floral design from the 1920's. It measures approximately 6 ¼ inches. There are striking shades of delicate orange, pale yellow, green and lavender/gray. Noritake porcelain was made in Japan after 1904. This plate bears the mark “M” in a wreath, made in Japan, which is the backstamp representing the family name, "Morimura," and was made in the 1920's. The backstamp is the magenta color. The plate is vintage, but is in excellent condition, with only a few very small scratches on the surface (not very noticeable) and a tiny black dot on the underside. There are no cracks, chips, or crazing.
